Natural stone is durable; elastic cord is not. Most bracelet failures are cord failures, not stone failures.
Daily wear
- Put the bracelet on last, after perfume, lotion and hair products have dried.
- Take it off for swimming, showers and heavy gym sessions. Chlorine and salt degrade elastic fastest.
- Avoid stretching it over your hand — roll it on instead.
Cleaning
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. For a deeper clean, use lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap, pat dry, and leave it flat for a few hours before wearing. Do not soak beads that are porous, such as selenite — it dissolves.
Storage
Store flat or coiled loosely in a pouch. Hanging a bracelet on a hook for months will stretch the cord permanently.
When the cord goes
Elastic typically lasts 12–18 months with regular wear. If yours snaps within 30 days of delivery, contact us and we will restring it free.
